these exersizes are really good. they devleop fast results aswell as long term strength. mens health is full of exersizes such as these.. so pick up a copy.

Make sure that you don't overlook the importance of isometric abdominal crunches.i.e crunches that you do by concentrating on tensing your stomach without movement.Bruce lee was a great advocate and in yoga its also of great importance.Try holding for 20 seconds at maximum tension.
Also try to hold the tension in different areas of your abdominals using the areas that you find you cannot isolate with your mind as much as others.This creates an important strength in protecting the spine by conditioning them to remain slightly tense all the time.Something they should be doing anyway but is difficult in our way of life.
