I dont really know any things to do to strengthen my upper legs, and they need most work! any suggestions? i have started hopping up the stairs

How about squats with a weight or one-legged squats (pistols)?

As James said, one-legged squats are extremely helpful... I have seen Rui doing alot of them - ON RAILS!!! OMG! ONOZ!1... Yeah...

i cant do them, i didnt say that soz, when i bend my leg beyond a certain point its gives way cos i had osgosslatous in my knees

could do squat thrusts or something? Dunno what muscle they work.
