since i have started parkour my life has changed so much, i have been eating differently, building muscle but what i notice most is how it has changed me at school, i am calmer in lessons and outside as well! its wierd, and i have changed my ways, like used to get pissed and stoned every friday or saturday now i try to cut it out!

I feel a lot more confident since i started parkour and I love doing it. But since I've started my effort in school has gone down.

Parkour and Buddhism came along and roughly the same time in my life and i am so thankful for both. I don't know were i would be right now if i hadn't found these to aspects of my life. I probably would have done something stupid and ended up hurting some one or myself. My confidence has gone up, i now have a further reason to get into shape. and like i said in the other thread, i have a gr8 group of friends.

parkour has done so many things for me, it has given me a new outlook on life, everywhere i go, i look at things and go, i could jump that, or that looks awesome for "this or that". or i wonder if i cold climb that. i also have more confidence in myself, and it has given me a better body, and abilitys i have wanted since i saw people before me perfomr such acts. it has helped and improved many personal and possiblyu selfish traits as well as physical mental and social. i would never have met such great and enthusiastic people if it was not for the passion of being "different" to a normal person who wants more from tlife then to walk to work.

When I was like 10, I started to wonder what I'd be like when I'm around 18, what I look like, how I'd act, who would be my friends etc. but could never picture myself. This is Exactly what I'm like thinking what I'd be like if I had never gotten into parkour.
Before parkour, I ALWAYS said that I would go on a diet but was NEVER serious about it, and if I was it would only last a week or two then I'd slip back into my old ways. With great help from Jay, the pounds are falling off whilst gaining muscle at the same time (Thanks dude).
I was more of a shy person who spent much more time indoors on the tv/pc or playing games rather than going out. Now I think I have found that perfect balance of staying in and going out. It has made me a hell of a lot more out-going and I feel much more confident and find it easier to speak to people. This is not so much because of parkour itself, but more because of who I train parkour with... All you guys in Flying Squad.
Well what can I say, each and every member of Flying Squad makes me swell with pride to be a part of such a great band of people. I have made more good friends through parkour than I have done in all the four schools I've been to put together!
It's been said before but I'll say it again, I think you's have become more than just my friends, I feel you's have become my family.
