How important is it (to you) to warm up? How does a warm up benifit you? Do you warm up before every session? What does your warm up consist of?
Go into as much or as little detail as you choose to describe your personal view on warm ups, it is helpfull to others, beginners and experianced trainers to see others ideas.
Generally to warm up i do a period of ground work where i get all the joints moving to feel ready to go with a training session which begins with small jumps and some wall work, lifting my body wieght off the ground to prepare upper body for the more serious work to come. basically i start a session gently then gradually build up to pushing myself mentally and physically. Usually i have had a long journey getting to SB or wherever which involves bike ride, running up escalators and fast walking.
Post up writing about your personal ideas of what a warm up should consist of, and the warm up that you do to get yourself ready for a long day jumping.
