Was wondering what happens if you are born on the 29th of February on a gap year? how does your birthday work out.

I would have thought that they would celebrate it on the day before as its still in Feb but if you celebrated the day after, then it would be in the March even though their birthday is in the Feb.
But technically would that mean that they age 4 times longer than others, eg. when someone is 8 years old, they would only be two... If you know what I mean lol.

I used to know someone who had his Birthday on a gap year. technically it was only his birthday every four years but obviously he didn't age differently, i think his family just altered the date for convenience sake.

Yeah, I don't know why people try to confuse things by saying you're younger than everyone if your bday is on a leap year.
I mean, 365 days is 365 days. Technically we should all celebrate our birthdays on a different day each year, shouldn't we?

I can see where you're coming from (not so much on the we should all celebrate it on different days) but I suppose it just makes people feel special and its nicer to make then feel special than an outcast?

doesnt really make you grow older any faster or slower does it??
so what does it matter. If you think about it its just every 52 weeks your a year older so have your birthday then
