since i can remember the news as shown on t.v. and in the news papers has been bad news. killings, robberys ,wars and all sort of foul deeds. who decided that all we would see as news is the bad things that happen? are we that morbid that all that interests us is peoples suffering?
and heres one for all the thinkers out there.
if we are free from the illusion of freedom are we really free?

Definately to keep our resonant frequencies low. The lower the rate of an individuals frequency vibration the individual is more likely to be sick (dis-ease), have negative thoughts and believe the World is a negative place. People in fear & negativity are easily controlled and far more suseptable to suggestion. Here's a classic example of what the news has become. www.youtube.com/watch?v=haZUwAde-8AHow an individual thinks effects the individuals reality perception. The World is a beautiful place!!! Always try to be as positive as possible it is good for you Nice question Ef1.

Since when have they been called Bob ? ? ? I've never known any reporter to be a Bob and I watch the news almost everyday. (admittedly I only watch the BBC Breakfast News with Natasha Kaplinski and Dermet something-or-other... God she's hot... lol jokes ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) ) PS. Does anyone know what NEWS stands for? (HINT: it's an acronym)

North East West South
The news is bad because it sells, we were looking at this in media yesterday people like to see bad things (on a sub concious level) because it makes u feel better about your life. 8 people were killed in a suicide bomb in iraq to day "o well at least it wasnt me, how lucky i am". nobody would ever admit to that (that is if they are even aware of it) but thats whats going on. its the same reason people whatch soaps and other television programs

Good point Proctor, I never thought about it in that respect, and having done a little psychology, it sounds a very reasonable explination in a psychological point of view.
And Forbes..... Bloody hell, where did you get all that from ? ? ? lol.

More & more people are abandoning the Brainstream media news, TV and paper in preferance to independant information sources on the Web or a choice to unplug from the negativity propogated by the corporate controlled media. Our chilrden are being conditioned to accept a vision of a society that they will need protection from. Today, adults are scared of children, children are scared of adults and our older people are frightened of everyone, caused by the fear promoting bias of the brainstream media.
There is far more goodness and decency out there than menace. If you can scare people their fear makes them easily controllable, this is the agenda.

LoL u would love the course im doing at Collage; Double Media, Philosophy and sociology. sociology is basicay just studying society and every aspect of it. see what u call conditioning is actualy sociolosation. its the process of teaching somebody how to behave in our society, what our norms are what we value. we have also been looking at what happens when u r not "conditioned" i.e have recieved no primary socialisation and those effect are soo much worse. lots of you will have heard of Oxanna the girl raised by dogs but a better example would be Genie. spend most of her life until she was 13 locked in a dark room with no human contact and no one ot "condition" her and the effects were grim. Is the internet not a media. the internet is open to everyone but that also means that anyone can go on and put what ever they like up so its never reliable.

Everyonr is conditioned (your examples are the worst) by their local environment by authority and indoctrination into the social system thar they exist within. The class you mention is conditioning you to think in a certain fashion. I have lived for 40 years and am aware of how the media has effected the society that i live in dramatically, it isnt by accident. If you are interested there is much referance relating to the plans that were put in place long ago to condition The people by mind control via the media and education. What you are being taught at school and the conditions you are taught in are part of a program to produce a type of citizens to serve the purpose of maintaining a stutus quo. If you are interested start a new thread where the subject can be reasonably considered.
