While being fit enough to scale and climb walls is seen as part and parcel of being a traceur, climbing buildings is not parkour it is known as buildering, a word formed from combining building and boulder.
buildering
Buildering (also known as urban climbing, structuring, or stegophily) is the act of climbing the outside of buildings and other urban structures.

Usually involving free climbing( Free climbing is a style of climbing in which the climber uses no artificial aids to make progress upwards, but just hands, feet and other parts of the body. Equipment is used only for protection against the consequences of a fall as opposed to Free soloing which is a type of climbing where no rope is used for protection and falls would be disastrous.) buildering can be very dangerous and is often practiced outside of legal bounds, and is thus mostly undertaken at night-time. Adepts of buildering who are seen climbing on buildings without authorization are regularly met by police forces upon completing their exploit. Spectacular acts of buildering, such as free climbing skyscrapers, are usually accomplished by lone, experienced climbers.
Lets look at Alain Robert aka spiderman, one of the best freeclimbers in the world.
At the ages of 19 and 20 he suffered two accidents, where he fell 15 metres and suffered multiple fractures and permanent vertigo. The doctors considered him 66 percent handicapped and told him he would not be able to climb again. However in 6 months he was back to climbing. He kept taking on more and more challenging structures and improving his skills. He polished his rock-climbing skills in the French Alps before turning to buildings.
